We didn't get an image of the footing under those blocks. It was just another dirt formed footing like the others.
Jamming those blocks under the deck was not easy. You can't just whack them in with a hammer, that would just brake them. You have to do it slowly, chipping the lower part of the deck or the upper part of the block just a little at a time. The lower surface of the deck was not even like the top.
